Many third party transportation services such as Uber or Lyft may not legally transport any individual under 18 years of age that is unaccompanied by someone 18 years old or older. Therefore, for the safety and welfare of your child, and since all youth that attend our programs are under 18 years of age, it is our policy that we will not be released any camper to travel via third party transportation that is not accompanied by an adult. This adult must be someone you have specified as an adult you allow to pick up your child from our program through our PICK-UP PERMISSIONS form.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Rock n' Roll Camp for Girls San Diego welcomes girls, trans, and gender nonconforming participants ages 12 to 17 who want to rock out and feel empowered.
While our programming is guided by the experiences of girls and women, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment that supports and welcomes a wide range of marginalized gender identities and expressions.
There is no musical experience necessary and all instruments and tools for creative expression are provided for Rockshop.
The policy and intent of the Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls San Diego is to provide equal opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, marital status, political affiliation, sex, status with regard to public assistance, disability, age, veteran status, and any other status protected under federal, state, or local laws. Rock n’ Roll Rockshop for Girls San Diego is a day-long workshop where girls ages 12-17 use music and multi-media art as a powerful way to communicate and collaborate while being guided by inspirational female mentors. In one day, participants team up and write original lyrics for their very own song. With the support of local musicians and artists, participants will add music and create visual art, while they explore themes of self -expression, self-care and empowerment! No music experience needed.
