THIRD PARTY TRANSPORTATION SERVICES POLICY

Many third party transportation services such as Uber or Lyft may not legally transport any individual under 18 years of age that is unaccompanied by someone 18 years old or older. Therefore, for the safety and welfare of your child, and since all youth that attend camp are under 18 years of age, it is our policy that we will not be released any camper to travel via third party transportation that is not accompanied by an adult. This adult must be someone you have specified as an adult you allow to pick up your child from our camp through our PICK-UP PERMISSIONS form.

EMPOWERING WORKSHOPS & MORE!

We kick off each day in a rock star celebration with high energy, hilarious and empowering assemblies by our talented and dedicated mentors. Then campers head to daily workshops that build skills that encourage self-expression. Examples of workshops are Songwriting, Self-Defense, Silk Screening T-shirts, “Her”story of Rock, Body Image & Identity, Media Literacy, Drum Circle, Community Impact, Zine Making, and more!

LUNCHTIME PERFORMANCES

At lunchtime we invite different local artists from music, dance and visual art, to join the campers for entertainment and inspiration. To strengthen visibility of female artists, we require performance groups be female-majority in make-up.

INSTRUMENT INSTRUCTION & BAND COACHING

Campers choose an instrument to play: vocals, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, or drums. They receive instruction from experienced female mentors daily. We provide the instruments or bring your own electric guitar, electric bass guitar or electric keyboard (upon approval).

Camper bands  are mentored by band coaching teams of inspirational female musicians and singer-songwriters. They not only bring their music skills, but also tools to help the campers support each other and collaborate.

HOW DO YOU ASSIGN INSTRUMENTS?

Camp application for instrument preference is first come, first served. Your tuition must also be paid in full to be qualified for first come, first served. If your particular instrument is full, we will attempt to place you in your second or third choice or on the waiting list for your first.
